La Parrilla, supporting the community.
One characteristic of the La Parrilla is its constant participation in events that directly benefit the community.
In 2007 the restaurants Mocambo and La Parrilla in Cancún have actively participated with People by People Civil Association for the Heroic Body of Firemen of Benito Juárez. In April, as a result of these activities, equipment was given to the H. Cuerpo de Bomberos at the sum of $442,000:
- Firemen Calendar May, 2, 2007.
- 24 hours for the Cancún Firemen
- Movie Show in the Mocambo Restaurant.
* La Parrilla of Cancún, Mérida and Playa of the Carmen directly support the equipment for Aluxes youth basketball in Cancún during the 2007 season.
* Motivating children's participation in cultural events is also of extreme importance to La Parrilla. This is why we have made alliances with the Newspaper of Quintana Roo and DIF to support activities related to the importance of these values, the development of creativity, and the habit of reading, among others.
